MISS ISLA - PRINCIPAL
BA (Hons) PGCE, Licentiate,ISTD, -Fully Vetted and DBS checked
Street Dance, Hip Hop, Cheerleading &Tumble BCA, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Commercial, ISTD Modern, Tap Ballet, Disco Freestyle Teacher and ISTD Medals in Street and Acrobatic Arts
Isla has worked among Directors, Choreographers and Producers in the industry for many years. She has Performed and Choreographed Music Videos sponsored by Addidas and Vevo Music channel, as well as a Choreographer and backing dancer on Pop Girl TV (Sky channel). She also was Dance Captain, Soloist Dancer and Choreographer for a Dance Performance at The Royal Albert Hall in front of Our Majesty the Queen.
Alongside this she has worked on films with Warner Bros films including “Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows part 1 and 2 and “The Boat that Rocked” . Also numerous television productions such as BBC’s Casualty, Schools for Stars BBC and many more.
She has built up a network of contacts within the industry in Dance and Acting over the years and Her knowledge is extensive and current. This is always passed on to aiding her student’s achieve there dreams and build their confidence in all styles of Dance, Acting, Singing and Musical Theatre. Isla choreographs regularly for public events, Shows and Music Videos around Europe and London regularly. Isla teaches Freelance at Performing arts schools, such as the well known Brit school and many more Vocational and Professional Schools.
Isla has trained at Brit School 4 years and Italia Conti 3 years. She holds a BA in professional practice in the Performing Arts, PGCE, and ISTD Qualifications in Modern, Tap and Ballet with DDI & DDE’S and licentiate levels in disco and Street dance teaching up to Advanced levels. She puts her students in for exams regularly achieving Fantastic Marks in Modern, Tap, Street Dance and Ballet.
Isla is on the Faculty Board for Street Dance and is a judge with the DFR with ISTD (only 4 chosen in UK to be part of the DFR faculty) , allowing students to be put in for exams and gain medals in Street dance. Isla judges regularly and teaches teachers in the industry regularly at Dance exchange events and workshops.
PHILIP GREEN - TEACHER

Philip is best known for his audition on TV’S well known BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT . His likeable character, unique personality, comedy impressions and dance performance landed him a place in the live finals.
He trained at Italia Conti and graduated in performing arts and dance teaching in 2011. During this time he performed in several roles on CBBC School for Stars, short films and TV commercials.
Since graduating he has performed in numerous pantomimes, music videos, charity events, festivals, radio shows and as a professional dancer at the London Olympic Opening Ceremony 2012. Philip’s impressions have led him to work with production companies such as the BBC, ITV, Princess Productions, 12 Yards, CDS Studios LLC and more, while working alongside many directors, producers and impressionists within the industry.
He has his own YouTube channel ‘The Philip Green Show’ (www.YouTube.com/officialphilwgreen) uploading every Tuesday and Friday, where he writes, produces, performs and edits his own comedy sketches with over 15 million views collectively. His parodies are very popular and he can impersonate a huge variety of celebrities from around the world.
MR MATHEW - TEACHER

Mathew has travelled to Los Angeles discovering street dance and studied dance from a young age. He has his own Company Urban Interface that travel with Street dance with Boom Dance Crew. Matt and Isla have been dancing together for over 8 years and have performed at many venues in london including Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers wells, Spotlight and many more. Matt’s extensive knowledge in street dance and experience is passed to the younger generation in forms of workshops in China, Germany, London and America. Matt continues to work in the industry and is continuously working on new projects with Urban Interface including Boom Arts Academy.
MR SAM - TEACHER
Break dance, Street Dance, Music Video, Acrobatic Arts and Cheer and Gymnastics Teacher BCA -Fully Vetted and DBS checked
Sam started dancing and gymnastics from a young age, and carrying on training at college gaining a Diploma in dance , he has competed and toured worldwide with Cheerleading and Gymnastic championships. Sam teaches Gymnastics with his qualifications across surrey, London and Kent. Sam has also competed with Street dance/B-boy in London achieving medals and an amazing status and reputation in the industry of dance. Sam has been involved in ISTD’s Dance exchange and many dance events and performances around London.
MR ROB - TEACHER

Rob trained at the well known vocational performing arts school Urdang Academy in London granted a scholarship. Rob was then lucky enough Tour the world dancing on cruise ships with Princess Cruises. Rob has done TV adverts with Jason Gardiner, Film work and performed in many well know theatres around the UK. He is continually inspiring students with his love and passion for dance and his amazing talent for choreography.
MISS KAT - VICE PRINCIPAL

Katrina started dancing when she was three years old, in ballet tap modern, acting and jazz. She has worked with the BBC on many occasions working with famous cast members whilst growing up. She appeared in the film “They Never Slept “BBC”
Katrina has worked with children since the age of 16 and has travelled to many countries doing administration for the performing arts industry. Katrina is also a qualified hairdresser and has worked behind the scenes in theatre and stage. She is fully qualified to work with children as well as holding a current DBS as well as first aid trained.

Allison trained from a young age , learning styles including Ballet, Musical theatre, Tap and Jazz. Allison trained at Corona a very well know school in London where star such as Ray Winstone, Lulu, Nicholas lyndhurst (only fools and horses attended) and many more stars. Allison has performed in many well know theatres in London such as the London palladium and has worked alongside well know names and choreographers in the dance industry. She has also worked on many Tv productions, commercials and films.

Tasha started dancing at the age of three. She she studied a BTEC National Diploma in Dance at Chichester and is undergoing her BA Hons and further teaching qualifications with the ISTD in ballet tap and modern for children to be put under her name in exams. Tasha has been involved in ISTD’s Dance exchange and many dance events and performances around london and Chichester. Tasha even had her a star in role in a film from a young age, so is very knowledgable in the Arts.
MISS ELLISON - TEACHER

Ellison trained from a young age learning styles including Ballet, Musical theatre, Tap and Jazz. Ellison trained at Corona a very well know school in London where star such as Ray Winstone, Lulu, and also taught Nicholas lyndhurst (Only fools and horses) and many more stars. Shanara started dancing at the age of three. Shanara went on to the well known Brit School Of Performing Arts where she studied a BTEC National Diploma in Musical theatre for 4 years. She continued her training abroad training at a leading performing arts school giving her an extensive amount of knowledge and expertise in the arts.
Shanara’s training allows her to teach a range of style in dance including creative ballet, street dance, musical theatre, tap, modern and Boom cheerleading. Shanara performed in Disney Land paris for many years as a dancer and actress, and went onto playing the famous role from the disney film “Princess and the frog”She has also performed in many Pantos and Dance Shows in well known Theatre’s around UK.
MISS PAISLEY - CREATIVE AND MARKETING DIRECTOR

Paisley started dancing when she was three years old, in ballet tap modern and jazz. She has worked with the BBC on many occasions working with famous cast members whilst growing up.
Paisley went on to the London School of Fashion receiving a Ba Hons. She then went on to become a Sales and Marketing Manager at A.V. and Founder of Makeup box London. Paisley is also a qualified make up artist and hair stylist and has worked behind the scenes in theatre and stage.
MISS BETHANY - TEACHER
Bethany trained in musical theatre at The BRIT School and then went on to do a degree in professional dance and musical theatre at Bird College.
Since graduating she has worked as a singer/dancer and lead vocalist for Fred Olsen Cruise Line and most recently she performed as a Viking Vocalist and Company Manager onboard the Viking Venus, which is part of the Viking Cruises fleet.
Bethany has danced and performed on stages all over Europe and the UK in her career.
We are so happy Bethany can give our students such an insight into the industry and are thrilled she is with us.
MISS AMY - TEACHER
Amy started dancing at the age of 4, Amy has performed in numerous productions such as Hairspray, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Bugsy Malone and Annie in well known Theatres in London and Surrey. She was also selected to perform in Disneyland Paris, at the Pocahontas Theatre. Amy then went on to Glenthorne High School specialising in the Performing Arts, and then progressed her career in dance at Richmond Upon Thames College, where she studied a UAL Level 2 and 3 Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Arts. Amy has worked as a Solo artist and dance choreographer at the Rhoda McGaw theatre and a dancer in the Robin Hood Pantomime. She was given the opportunity to fly out to Southern Ireland, to dance in the Irish National Folk Theatre called ‘Siamsa Tire’ Theatre in Tralee in Kerry.
Amy looks forward to every lesson she teaches, as the children are a breath of fresh air with their dedication, commitment to learn and enthusiasm, which makes her job as a Dance Teacher worthwhile fun and exciting.

MISS BROOKE - TEACHER
Brooke trained in professional dance and musical theatre at Bird performing arts college, graduating with a diploma for musical theatre and dance. She went on to gaining a degree with middlesex university.
Brooke has recently toured with Micheal Jackson tribute over the UK performing in many leading theatres.

MISS TAMARA - TEACHER
Tamara trained in professional dance and musical theatre at Bird performing arts college, graduating with a degree for musical theatre and dance.
Tamara Recently played “Mazeppa” in the musical of Gypsy.
She has played mainly lead roles in the theatre such as “Rizzo” in the musical Grease and “Vivienne” in Legally Blonde.

We are thrilled to have Tamara with us and her expertise in musical theatre and dance.
MISS INDIA - TEACHER
India trained at the renowned performing arts school “Laine Theatre Arts” doing a diploma and degree in musical theatre.
Prior to training at Laine, India was an associate with Tring Park School For The Performing Arts and Central School Of Ballet. India has participated in events with the English National Ballet School, Elmhurst Ballet School, Tring Park and Central School of Ballet.
India performed in London Children’s Ballets “Ballet Shoes” at the Peacock Theatre in London.”
India is a talented teacher who has performed in many theatres in London and has taken many lead parts, she is an amazing dancer and we are ecstatic she is with us at Boom and teaching her talents and expertise to our students.
MISS PHOEBE - TEACHER
Phoebe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a dance teacher at Boom Arts Academy. With her passion for performing arts, she has achieved significant milestones in her dance journey.

Phoebe has gained a UAL Level 3 qualification in Performing and Production Arts, which laid the foundation for her artistic endeavours. Additionally, she underwent intensive vocational training at a prestigious dance college, where she completed a certificate in Professional and Commercial Dance. This comprehensive program exposed her to a wide range of styles, including ballet, jazz, acting, singing, and musical theatre.

Phoebe's commitment to technical excellence led her to pursue street dance exams with Boom Arts, where she achieved Gold-Honours level. Phoebe has also successfully completed ISTD exams in tap and modern dance, showcasing her versatility across various genres.
"One of the highlights of my dance career was dancing and training professionally in Los Angeles, also representing my university's dance team in competitions consistently securing 1st place."
In addition to Phoebe's dance background, she is graduating with a BA Hons degree in Sociology. This interdisciplinary education has broadened her understanding of society and human behaviour, providing a unique perspective that she brings to teaching.
"I am excited to share my passion for dance with students of all ages and skill levels. My goal is to inspire and empower them, fostering a love for dance while nurturing their technical abilities."
